Playing Hole #12

A challenging par 5, reachable with two shots.
The hole is lined from tee to green with hard wood trees. The fairway in several locations is less than 100 feet wide.
The tee shot is out of a chute to a generous landing area (by the Ferns standards) but must be placed on the left side of the fairway to allow a clear 2nd shot to the green.
A lateral hazard, cleared of debris, runs down both sides of the fairway. This allows the ball to be found easily, leaving the player with the decision of taking a penalty stroke or of playing the ball where it lies.
The large green allows a variety of pin placements, with the most difficult in the back right.
